Mhla ziyi-10 kuMandulo wuSuku Lomhlaba Lokuvimbela Ukuzibulala

Namuhla iWorld Suicide Prevention Day futhi indikimba ithi ‘Changing the Narrative on Suicide’.

Lesi siqeshana sikhuluma ngokuzibulala kanye nempilo yengqondo. Ulwazi olwabiwe luvela kochwepheshe kodwa aluthathi indawo yokunakekelwa kochwepheshe. Uma wena noma othile omaziyo edonsa kanzima, sicela uthinte uchwepheshe wezempilo yengqondo ukuze uthole ukwesekwa.

Namuhla, 10 September, kugujwa Usuku Lomhlaba Lokuvimbela Ukuzibulala. Lolu suku luhlelwe futhi lukhunjulwe yi-World Health Organisation (WHO) ngokubambisana ne-International Association for Suicide Prevention.

UDkt Catharina Boehme, Isikhulu Esiphethe ku-WHO South-East Asia, wabelane ngokuthi ingqikithi yonyaka ka-2024 – 2026 ithi ‘Ukushintsha Indaba Yokuzibulala’. Inhloso wukusuka ekuthuleni, emahloni nasekwahluleleni bese sidlulela ekusekelweni, ekuthembekeni nasekuvulekeni maqondana nokuzibulala kanye nokuziphatha kokuzibulala.

“Ngokwephula inhlamba ezungeze impilo yengqondo nokuzibulala, sakha isiko lapho abantu bezizwa bephephile ukufuna usizo. Kubalulekile ukuqinisekisa ukuthi akekho ozizwa eyedwa, nokuthi wonke umuntu uyazi ukuthi izinhlelo zokusekela kanye nokungenelela kuyatholakala,” kubhala uDkt Boehme.

Ngokwe-WHO, ukuzibulala kuyagwemeka, nakuba lokhu kungewona umsebenzi olula. Yilokho okudinga umzamo omkhulu, ukuxhumana, ukuqwashisa, ukuphulukiswa nokuxhumana.

UDkt Boehme wabelane ngemininingwane mayelana nomhlahlandlela wokuqalisa we-LIVE LIFE. Lo mhlahlandlela unikeza isiqondiso esisekelwe ebufakazini ekungeneleleni kokuvimbela ukuzibulala.

Kunezinyathelo ezine ezibalulekile zemikhakha ehlukahlukene kanye nezinsika eziyisithupha eziyisisekelo. Ngezansi ukungenelela okune:

1. Ukunciphisa ukufinyelela ezindleleni zokuzibulala.

2. Ukusebenzisana nabezindaba ukuze kubikwe ngokuzibulala.

3. Ukuthuthukisa amakhono empilo yenhlalo nemizwa entsheni.

4. Ukuhlonzwa kusenesikhathi nokusekelwa kwawo wonke umuntu othintwe ukuzibulala nokuzilimaza.
